"The Emory House is one of my all-time favorite places that I have ever stayed! I think we would return to the area just so we could stay there again. Not only was it a lovely space but the host was incredibly hospitable and I love learning about the area and the historic elements in the space. I appreciate that they accommodated my gluten intolerance for breakfast and had dinner recommendations. I would highly recommend staying here!"

Mountain Laurel Inn
3.0 star property

"We was in town for the August night races at Bristol. Our host was extremely nice at check in. We booked. room with a shared bathroom, but never had ny problems accessing it for showers or to freshen up before leaving for the races. We are on a Keto diet and our host made sure we had an awesome breakfast every morning. But I'll say I was about to go off the diet when I was the amazing waffles and pancakes she prepared. "

Even though it was summer, without air conditioning, the cabin stayed surprisingly cool. Curtains were vintage and a bit of a challenge to open. I personally felt nervous or a bit uncomfortable staying in what is clearly someone’s regular residence. However, everything was positive and pleasant and we appreciate being able...

Bristol Wilderness ~ Lake House With Private Dock On South Holston Lake
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (77)
"The lake house was perfect for our family needs. There was plenty of room for all who stayed. For those who complained about spiders, just remember you are in the woods and that’s what nature is going to give you. Can’t wait until next year. Thank you Bernard for welcoming our family into your home. "
