"Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Use of grounds and pool. Very friendly, helpful, hosts gave lots of advice on things to do and places to visit and nothing was too much trouble. Enclosed garden to the cottage so our dog could be let off lead. Peaceful location, we had a great stay, thank you Jill and Phil."

"Fabulous 3 bed gite with a large pool, air con, fast wifi, outdoor games and UK tv channels. Great for families. Handily placed - 30mins to Royan, 40 mins to Cognac, 50 mins to Bordeaux. Catherine, the hostess, couldn't do more for us. We had a great time (despite the weather) and would heartily recommend this idyllic, quiet get-away."

"...hatten wir in der bezauberndwn Unterkunft von Madame Papa. Das Haus war einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Vermietern war wirklich super nett und sehr darum bemüht uns einen schönen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Auch uns hat sie mit ihren selbstgebackenen Keksen verwöhnt. Der Pool war super und die Umgebung mitten in den Weinfeldern grossartig. Danke für den tollen Urlaub!!"

"Noch besser als durch den telefonischen Vorkontakt bereits vermutet. Sehr liebevolles Gastgeberpaar, Yves & Madeleine. Interieur: "tres mignon", wie man in Frankreich sagt. Alles da, was man zum Kochen braucht. Gut, ein scharfes großes Messer ist für Leute wie mich immer ein "must", aber für normale Bedürfnisse ist alles parat: Kühlschrank, Kochfelder, Backofen, Wasserkocher sowie Kaffee- und Espresseomaschiner, nebst Waschmaschine. Aaber das beschreibt nur im technischen Sinn das Wohlfühlgefühl...

"This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. After cognac tasting, going to the local farmers market, kayak races and wandering the lovely village of Jarnac we always looked forward to returning to our gite. "We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "
