"Great spot and staff was excellent, few minor thing in room such as curtains dont block out all the light. Sauna and washing machine was a great addition"
"This is a very conveniently-situated hotel within an easy walk to the centre of old Brno and many nice, local restaurants.
The car parking was secure and easy to find so it made it an ideal choice of us on a driving holiday of the Czech Republic.
The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We appreciate the slippers and robes as well as a very comfortable bed and pillows.
The hotel room was very quiet, despite being on a main road and having a lot of guests while we were staying.
Another positive was the breakfast - the variety was excellent and the dishes were well-prepared and tasty. In all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.
Highly recommended for business or a holiday!"
"Nice breakfast, good location. Clean rooms were a tad small but acceptable. Our elevator broke down as we tried to take our luggage to our rooms - not a great experience for my claustrophobic wife - but they resolved it with 5 minutes. A bit noisier than we expected - partly due to construction outside their control which should be completed by early end (2026)."
"Loved the quirky quaint charactet of the hotel which still had comfortable clean rooms. Would definitely stay again.
Helpful staff, especially Agata and Martina.
Worst part is RECEPTION IS ONLY OPEN UNTIL 7:00 pm. Must check in remotely otherwise. We arrived at 7:30 and were caught unawares. We almost most gave up and went somewhere else. Once we figured it out, it still took several calls to the hotel, reception problems, etc to finally get the code, and get it to work!
Fun little complementary mini bar.
Breakfast was fine -
Elevators are between the floors - think of floor 1.5, 2.5, etc., meaning you wiil ha2 to take your suitcases up at least half a flight of stairs"
Hotel Avion - National Cultural Monument - ICONIC HOUSES
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful accommodation in a national cultural monument that has been superbly restored—thanks to Mr. Berousek, to whom we owe a great deal of gratitude. Staying here was a truly memorable experience, and I recommend it to anyone interested in modernist architecture—though not exclusively to them.Daniel"
