"Room and bathroom spacious and comfortable. Staff wonderful, restaurants, bars and lounges were plentiful and we loved the authentic timber construction and decor throughout the old areas of the hotel. Our only “complaint” was the overwhelming aromatherapy in the lobby, but it was Christmas-time so… to be expected? Overall a perfect location for visiting River Avon and historic Stratford. "

"A pleasant stay at this hotel, we were provided with early check-in and a free upgrade to an executive room. Restaurant food was good and staff were friendly. We found our room fairly hot so had to turn down the radiators. The room had free drinks, which was a bonus."
