People around it had not heard and there were other people whom we met who also had trouble locating this place. They better provide some landmarks like next to City Hall or so."

"I loved the historical nature of this hotel. It was formerly an orphanage and it has been restored to reflect that. The rooms are small, basically the width of a king size bed, (which was gorgeously comfortable), though there was a shower and sink in the room as well. The toilets are down the hall. The rooms are dead quiet, as you are encased by thick walls. There are a few plaques around the hotel to tell of its former life. The hotel is situated right in the centrum, behind the old church, and spitting distance from Venlo's shopping, going out area. Loved it. 5 stars. "
