"It was fine. At first I thought the reception lady was a little rude, but later on realised she's just abrupt. I didn't like I had to pay extra to check in 30 mins early. If it was me, and a room was already free, I'd just let the person in if they're there. The corridoors were kept clean. The room was extremely simple and depressing as you would expect from an Ibis budget. The toilet was in a cupboard and the sink was in the room. If you're just using it as a base I'm sure it's fine. "

"I clearly stayed when Crufts was on, I think I should have been told this when I booked, the hotel is dog friendly which is great but there were a lot of dogs at the hotel and they were barking both outside and in the rooms which disturbed my sleep before a long early morning flight. Rooms were clean but starting to look dated and in need of an upgrade. "

"One of my fave hotels in Bham and the only one I choose to stay in when visiting the city. Main bar accomodating to hotel guests, maybe the new jazz bar could keep tables open for hotel guests as would have loved to have visited but apparently fully booked"
