    ABOUT TOBY'S CRAB SHACK:
    Toby's Crab Shack is a little piece of heaven right on the ocean in Brookings, Oregon - the banana belt of Oregon due to the unusually nice weather compared to the rest of the coast. Please note the icon on the map view is incorrect. Toby's is actually 2 miles north of Harris Beach and sits on a bluff right over the ocean at Rainbow Rock.

    Stand in the living room, dining room, kitchen, or on the balcony to enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and beachfront. Fishing boats, whales, sea lions, and waves crashing against the big rocks are just some of the things you can experience right from your comfortable chair in the Condo. Walk down the beach trail that is full of beautiful plants, bushes, and trees to arrive at a fabulous, secluded beach with tide pools and walk through the cave.

    Toby's is one of the more updated units and is very clean, neat, and tastefully furnished with comfortable furnishings in a subtle and calming color palette.

    Settle in with the comforts of home at this condo in a peaceful, gated complex. Toby's is at the very end of the complex which creates a quiet setting and an unobstructed view to the south and west, both facing the ocean.

    Brookings is a quaint town right on the ocean in southern Oregon only minutes from the California border.

    PLEASE NOTE: The fireplace is not able to be used. No; boats, trailers, RVs, Smoking of any kind, animals, fireworks at all anywhere, fires on the beach below, or children under 9 years of age are allowed at Toby's Crab Shack. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tony’s Crab Shack is an incredible property. We were so pleased with our stay that we would not hesitate to come back. The location is fantastic. I cannot say enough about the view and the access to Rainbow Beach. This was incredible. The condo was also lovely. Fully stocked with everything we needed and wonderfully decorated. I would say this is one of our top stays!

Toby's Crab Shack is the best condo we have stayed in at Rainbow Rock. T he kitchen is fully stocked for those of you that want to cook during your stay. We stayed 5 nights and cooked all but one day! The private beach is awesome to walk. The trail down to the beach isn't too bad!! All the furniture is comfortable with the living room having 5 reclining seats and the two seats in the bay also recline and swivel. It's the perfect condo with a perfect view!

What a lovely condo! Very nicely furnished and the view can’t be beat. The kitchen had everything we needed except we forgot to bring our own coffee. Beds were comfy but I’m glad we’d found the folding step stool to aid us short people getting into a tall bed. Thanks for a very nice three night stay so we could watch our grandson compete in the district track meet.

So many times photos of a property are so much better than the actual rental. But not this property. It overdelivered! Everything about it is 5 star. Comfy beds. Beautiful and ultra comfy furnishings. And the kitchen is better outfitted and stocked than anywhere we have ever stayed. We saw whales on two days and walked the trail to the beach and just enjoyed the place to really unwind. Thank you for excellence!! Loved it.

By far the best VRBO condo we’ve ever stayed at. From the moment you walk in you smell the cleanliness and feel the welcoming vibe. The location is perfect with a million dollar view and a quiet corner in paradise. The beds are so comfortable as is the sofa and 2 reading chairs with 3 sides of picture windows—this makes you feel like you’re in the outdoors! Valerie the property manager is such a true gem! She responds immediately to any questions you may have, she gave us some good dinning suggestions and family friendly activities to enjoy while in Brookings. 2 nights just wasn’t enough!!! Next time we come we want to stay no less then a full week. Toby’s Crab Shack is a true gem…the pictures and descriptions are spot on but when you enter in person it’s so much better!! We stayed for the second time at this property and its been a great experience as usual. Specifically, the cleanliness, attention to details, the views from the balcony need to be highlighted. The location was perfect for our hiking needs. The check in process was smooth and familiar. Having the garage access helped as there wasnt enough parking spot. Will come back here.

Wonderful condo with a fantastic view.

The home is fabu and the view is incredible. But the hostess, Valerie, is better than all of that. She called us before the tsunami warning and let us know what the sheriff was telling her. We left, to be safe, and Valerie made sure we were safe, invited us to her place, higher ground.

Beautiful Setting

The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was amazing and we were able to see seals laying on the rocks in the ocean every morning. The beach associated with the condo was our favorite beach to explore and were able to see tons of crabs, starfish, sea anemones. Would absolutely stay again!

A slice of paradise

Amazing views, very well equipped, clean and quiet. This is now our favorite place to stay, and we have traveled all over the world. Valerie was excellent, she checked in on us frequently and was available when needed. We would definitely come back.

Peaceful rest.

This was the perfect spot for our family. We loved walking down to the beach at low tide and finding the cave tunnel! Also enjoyed the trail out back. Amazing views, clean and QUIET property. Will definitely come again!

35th Anniversary

We celebrated our anniversary this week. We try and go to the coast every year. This condo was a beautiful place with a beautiful view. The alcove was a perfect place to read and nap. The biggest downside to it was the walk to the beach. The path is well laid out and marked, but the trip back up was quite challenging if your not used to walking uphill,

A short stay in Brookings

We stayed at the property for a few days in early October. It is in a gated condominium complex on the bluffs to the north of Brookings which is about a 7 minute drive away. Outstanding view of the Pacific and we saw seals and whales from the deck. The property was exceptionally clean and well appointed with everything you need for a nice stay. There are some nice beaches to walk on (or hike to) that are within a 5 minute drive. Overall, a very nice place to stay if you do not mind a short drive to places where you can go for a walk or to go into town.
