"Loved the details from the old swimming pool building, around the hotel. Loved the details such as the beautiful coffee cups. Staff in the breakfast buffet were absolutely amazing <3 Breakfast buffet was huge and much home made - the breakfast selection felt very much like something from a 5* luxury resort. Parked the car around the hotel on a public parking spot - ended up paying 40 SEK for the night for the car. A lot closed on Sundays in Ystad - little Coop in walking distance from the hotel. Roof top drinks were expensive even for Sweden, but view was good."

"The folks there are so helpful And friendly, the room is on the small side but comfy and our room had a little terrace to sit out on in the evening. The breakfast is very nice and the hotel is so close to the train/bus station and in the old town with many shops and restaurants."

Guy - Owner was very friendly and accommodating, we appreciated the hospitality while staying at Stora Herrestad. We will definitely consider staying again in the future . "

The bed was comfy, the breakfast was more than adequate. Do be mindful, it’s all shared bathrooms and showers."
