Brown County Cozy Cabin--Close to Story, Nashville, Columbus on 6 acres
"We had a fantastic stay at this little cottage in the woods. It felt like home after running around the countryside everyday. It was comfortable in most respects and had almost everything we needed. Air conditioning worked well but it is difficult to cool the back bedrooms. There was a fan to help with ventilation but it really needs to be cleaned...yikes! The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed, pots, pans, etc. The dinner table and setting were nice. The bathroom was recently remodeled and is really nice. Satellite service was nice with a very large subscription to ALL the channels! The hot tub gets hot and circulates well and is clean. The grill for clarification is charcoal and works well. The property owner communicated with us very well and made sure the driveway was repaired after the hard rains. Overall a nice stay. Is there room for improvement? Sure. The biggest concern is the deck...let's just say that personal injury lawyers would love it. Everything else are detail issues that just really need some time well spent and some TLC addressing.....minor landscaping issues would enhance the property 10 fold; screens fixed, screen door adjusted, maybe a deep dive on some detail cleaning. However, that may be; just that this is a cabin in the woods, not Shangri-La. It's on the rustic side, so expect rustic vibes. This cabin would be great for a couple or a small family; but not really for more than 1 couple or a large family."

"We had the handicap accessible room, but the commode was normal height, was hard for our disabled sister to get up from. We had to run to Walmart to get one of the commode risers. They had a tub with all the bars necessary and a bath chair. I just wish it had been a walk in shower. The room was large enough for a wheelchair and had handicap button to open the door with. Overall good stay!"
