"We arrived late in the evening, around 2330 local time with 3 children under 5 in tow. I had been in contact with the hotel several weeks prior to let them know about my arrival time, and I had been assured that there was no further action needed - I would be sent instructions 24 hours prior and that there was no need for anyone from the hotel staff to be there on arrival. On the day of travel and arrival, I received a message from hotels.com, which I mistakenly thought was from the property....

Breakfast was amazing though sadly, because we had to get to Paris at a certain time and the farmers blocking the autoroutes, we had to leave early and couldnt take advantage of most of the excellent fare !"

"Willieman is a beautiful village. The accommodation was clean with enough space for 5. The owners were fantastic, superbly accommodating with food after the restaurant had closed and with a lovely breakfast. There is not much “to do” in Willieman but if your travels lead you there, would highly recommend this place to stay. "

"Christine and Olivier have a lovely house and have made it comfortable and welcoming for guests. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was big and airy with a super bed. There is tea and coffee provided and breakfast was just right. We had dinner in Nieppe one night and also in the Chaplin bar across in Belgium. There is a Hyper-U just by the highway if you are looking for bargains ahead of the ferry home. We cycled in to Lille along the canal which was very enjoyable. The park opposite is nice...

"Rural setting. excellent accommodation Friendly owners arrived very late but key was sorted in key box loved the breakfast pancakes. didn’t realise there was a full blown hot tub next to bedroom would go again "

"So peaceful and great countryside. Spotlessly clean, Shower is hot and plenty of water. Loved the setting in a rural farming community. Wonderful polite People there. It's a must stay if you are working near by or out for day trips. Everything is secure in parking and rooms. I loved this place. My only disapointment was I cound't take the three friendly goats home from the front yard. This is a must stay at place.I can't praise it enought. Thank you for a fantastic few days while I put flowers...

"Le Château - Fresnoy en Gohelle was a dream experience. The owner clearly loves this home and takes pride in sharing with others. It was like we had our own home all to ourselves. The ground were stunning, decorations incredible, breakfast was wonderful, and the owner treated us with kindness and respect. This was one of best experiences while on our 12 day France vacation."

"This is an extremely comfortable B&B in lovely green surroundings/gardens. Extremely quiet. Comfortable bed and armchair to relax in. It is a large room; actually two rooms each with a queen bed. We were on our own but it could accommodate a couple with an older child or 3 adults. Might be a bit crowded for 4 adults. The bathroom is also large and modern with a great walk in shower.
