"The breakfast is great everything is fresh daily and good variety. Did not require parking . Our room attendant Corina was always there for anything we required. We had nightly drinks in the hotel bar. Very friendly atmosphere. We got to know the locals and staff also . Such a memorable experience. I recommend the hotel as it is close to railway and bus station walking distance approximately 10 minutes to town. Plenty of restaurants and cafes."

"The kitchen was fully equipped and we replaced consumables as needed. We did not bring children but note that the unit was family friendly. Our host responded to our needs promptly (we didn’t realize bedding wasn’t provided but our request was quickly addressed). The house was clean and tidy and had drying rack available. Laundry facilities and groceries could be acquired in a ten minute walk. Bruinesse is a 30 minute walk but car access isn’t a problem. The reception desk is closed mostly but a contact number and quick response was available. The host was fantastic!"

"The grand cafe is a lovely place to have a coffee and watch the ships go by on the river Maas. The rooms are large and comfortable and offer the same, lovely view over the river. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great stay!"

"Ok for one night. Room needs a bit of care (never a fan of two single beds together), full of cobwebs on the walls. Spacious."

"The hotel has been extended and the reason is clear, very warm, cosy and modern interior with polite staff (mostly women) who tend to your every need. The bar and restaurant are satisfactory for week long stays. Affordable and delicious! The rooms are modern and spacious with beautiful views and its a short taxi ride to the two closest times and the port. Would reccomend highly "

"The room was pretty basic although that was what we expected as we'd booked the cheapest room with a shared bathroom. The soundproofing of the rooms is pretty poor though - we could hear the person/people in the room next to us talking and the sound carried into our room and even earplugs didn't help. We alerted staff at about 1am who helpfully knocked on the door next door. Unfortunately, our neighbour(s) didn't take this to heart. At 1.30am I went down to reception again as we could not sleep at all because of the sounds. I asked for another room and staff were very helpful and supportive. So we slept much better once we'd moved to another room. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortuntely we had a very short night. If we had not had noisy neighbours and/if the soundproofing of rooms was better it would have been an acceptable stay in an average hotel. The beds (in both rooms) were comfy. "
