We stayed here for a wedding in a neighboring town. The place was spacious comfortable and worked out great. Decorated so cute for a cabin in the woods!!
This property was perfect for our ATV trip. It was well located to the trail system and was very neat and well kept. We would definitely stay there again!
Great location to base out of and explore the Brule River State Forest. I didn't bring my kids but this place is very kid friendly and would bring my family here. Hosts was wonderful. I recommend a stay.
An excellent cabin to get away from it all. A great location in Brule! The cabin is well appointed with everything we needed. Super clean and inviting. I would definitely book again.
Used the cabin for a base for participating in the Chequemegon Fat tire Festival bike race in Hayward. Check in and communication was great along with easy to find. Short trip to Hayward Cable area for the race.
This was the perfect location for us to bring up our girls to explore and learn to love the area as much as we do! The house had everything we could ever need and the girls enjoyed the toys and places to play! Everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay with a family! Thank you for sharing your adorable cabin with us!
Myself and 4 other friends stayed at this property while we canoed the Brule river. We were all very impressed with the property. It was very clean upon arrival. We were very pleased with the sleeping arrangements, kitchen, fire pit and grill. We would definitely stay here again.
We were in the area to do some Atv'ing. The house worked great for 3 couples. It was well stocked with everyrhing we needed and it was a short ride to the trail. The owner was easy to work with.
This home was very clean and welcoming including have ing a firepit set up for us. It was close to the trails and was a fabulous place to stay. We liked it so much we are going back in about 3 weeks. 5 star all the way.
We attended a wedding at the Barn so this was very convenient. Much larger than we originally thought! Nice outside fire pit and deer walking through the yard in the evenings.
The cabin was nice, and in a quiet neighborhood within short distance of a couple of eating places and gas stations. It is well stocked with kitchen equipment and toys for the little ones if you have kids. We enjoyed seeing several deer over our short stay. It is pretty close to Amnicon State Park which was a bonus. The front steps were a bit high and did not have a railing, which is probably not an issue for most guests, but was a bit tough for me. To be fair to the host, their pictures clearly show the steps to both the front porch and the main floor and what you see is what you get. The fire pit is away from the cabin in the wooded part of the lot, giving off a camping feel. All in all a very nice place to get away from city life and stresses.
Upsides: close to trails, close to gas station and great restaurant! Had shampoo and conditioner and laundry soap and q tips! Left plenty of toilet paper and had code entry so we didn’t have to worry about losing a key!
Downside: no central air, had one bedroom window unit and another unit in the living room upstairs that couldn’t be moved. We had to run them on high the entire time to keep the place cool. We had 6 adults but only 3 coffee cups so only half of us could drink coffee at one time.
This is our third year staying at the cabin and it has been great every year. Lots of trucks and cars if you have little boys with you and lots of space to spread out
