"Platzl Hotel Munich is truly exceptional. The staff were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and consistently professional throughout my stay. Breakfast was amazing, with a wide selection of fresh, high‑quality dishes that made every morning enjoyable. The restaurant was fantastic as well, offering delicious Bavarian and international options in a beautiful setting. Best of all, the hotel sits right in the heart of Marienplatz, making it incredibly easy to explore Munich’s historic center. A perfect combination of comfort, hospitality, and location."

"Nice hotel, but in a not-so-nice area of Munich. On street parking can be tricky. Only 2 elevators out of 3 working meant long waiting times for such a big hotel. Nice room design, but the headroom on the loft floor meant you literally had to crawl to get to the bed. The long vertical window opening more than half in feels quite unsafe on a top floor. The swimming pool is tiny, but nice for a fresh morning dip. Nice vibe in the evenings though a bit crowded."

"Perfectly located close to the train station and easy to walk everywhere. Unlimited free serve yourself espresso machines in the lobby 24/7 with whole milk and oat milk and many coffee options as well as sparkling and still water on tap. We rented cute bikes from the desk and rode them to the English garden minutes away, so convenient! Darling decor as well, it even has a very lovely alpine themed outdoor patio with resident cats. You really can’t beat this place for ambiance on a budget."
