"This is an older motel, so the carpet really shows the age and had actually been patched in my room. The shower head did not work well, but when I mentioned it at the front desk, they had it replaced when I returned in the afternoon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, it is a great place to stay and the price was very reasonable. The breakfast was ok, but not much of a variety. I would like to have seen some protein options other than yogurt because I can't do the dairy."

Sarah, the host was quick to respond and very helpful when we had to change dates.4 adults and two children who loved the bunk beds!The yard area seems to be a work in progress but this did not stop us from being outside in the cool mornings and evenings when the days were very hot."

"This review is based on the price paid. No issues to mention. AC worked very well, lots of channels on the TV, fridge kept my beer cold, shower did its thing, couldn't hear any of my neighbors. Bed was comfortable, but I do wish I had brought my pillow (some morning neck pain). Housekeeping did NOT knock on my door at 8 am. I really wanted to visit the bar, but my schedule didn't allow it. I would go back."

"The ‘Green Castle’ is absolutely GORGEOUS! Madeline & Ethan have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears in to making the house true to its original self and they are still going. I can’t wait to see its progression, especially the ‘speakeasy’! Madeline & Ethan are incredible hosts. We so enjoyed talking to them and hearing the stories of the restore as well as their fabulous adventures in life. Madeline’s homemade breakfasts were incredible, especially her pastries (I took a recipe home). Ethan is insanely talented in his meticulous workmanship. He showed us a couple of piece's including one of the most beautiful guitars I’ve ever seen. I loved the puppers; DogDog, Babbs and the guard cat…Vlad the Impaler. This is a must stay, especially if you love the older homes."
