"The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes."

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. "Everything you need for a wind-down in the country. All you could need is provided in the clean and comfortable gite. Not quite silence - there are sheep a couple of fields away and the hum of insects gorging on the flowers. Walks through the fields and woods in the area from the front door. Genial hosts with good local knowledge, friendly and discrete. "

"After initial booking, don't expect much more help from the booking agency. And if French is not your spoken language, hire or ask a french speaking friend to help with booking the vendors. The recommended caterers are ok. Book the times 30 minutes earlier to ensure it's on time. And make sure ALL details are in writing and explored, or you may be disappointed."
