"Second time staying here. Bear house is simply perfect. Great location, great hosts. It is a joy to stay here. The grounds are welcoming, with plenty of places to sit and chat with your group, or new friends! Parking is right there. The rooms are always clean, and well stocked with coffee and snacks. Just wish they had a bear house in other cities that we travel to!!!!!"

"The entire Bear house property is incredibly charming and inviting. The Stinson Suite was as well. The space is incredibly charming and cozy perfect for 1-2 couples or a small family. St Elmo is a lovely town and is perfectly walkable from the property. Beautiful area and so many great options for food, shopping, and experiences nearby."

"We had a wonderful long weekend in this spacious condo..We visit this city frequently and this was one of the best locations we have stayed in terms of proximity/accessibility to restaurants, riverfront, etc. It was very nice, clean condo and the layout was very relaxing. Brad was very accommodating and extremely responsive. The only down side was the late night traffic from the road outside, if you are a light sleeper you might want to have your white noise on. "The Bear House is a delightful place to stay. We had the full upstairs and it was like two small apartments that were joined together. Yes it is a little eclectic, but so many personal touches and each room is decorated individually. Everyone loved it. Plenty of little sitting areas and very quiet and sound proof. "Staying in an updated historic loft that is beautifully decorated, made us feel so comfortable. There is a park across the street and the loft is near the base of Lookout Mountain. There is so much to see and do within a few minutes walk or short drive. The scenery was beautiful and so was the architecture in the neighborhood. Local people were helpful. There was a charming claw foot bathtub and a pedestal sink depicting a Victorian or French styled bathroom. The queen sized bed was so comfortable and decorated with beautiful bed coverings and pillows. There was a tv in the bedroom and the living room. "We stayed here while visiting family for Thanksgiving and it couldn't have been better. The property was exactly as described. It was super cute and was spotless. We liked that the shower, toilet, and sink were all separate. The screened in porch and the high ceilings just added to the ambiance. All in all it was a great property. "Property is gorgeous. Close enough to Chattanooga while being out of the city. Basketball, pool, hot tub, fire pit…we did all of that. Didn’t try the trail. The yurt was very cool. My son loved the loft. Will definitely be trying one of of the other cabins next time we stay at this property we visit the area."
