"A very nice stay in Silkeborg. Lovely helpful staff at check-in. Nice and spacious suite 9 in the old building. I wouldn’t choose a room in the main building which has the feeling still of an old hospital in the corridors. The hotel has a very nice garden setting and peaceful location just outside the city centre and close to a beautiful lakeside swimming area. Easy parking onsite. "We did not have the breakfast. We opted to drive out and have a local breakfast. It was a very nice place in this rural area in the middle of Jutland. Dark skys made star gazing quite nice. Quiet with few people around. A simple market a short walk away was also very convient. It would be a great place to bring kids and get away from the bustle of the city.
