"The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee...

The scenery was better than in the photos and the guides given to us by the host led us to some delicious meals. We spent a great deal of time sitting outside. "The house was amazing, we had the entire top floor of the house, which had large bedrooms, common area and kitchen. The entire place was very nice and was quiet, which made it easy to relax and end a nice holiday. The pool area is share with other renters in the area, but was not an issue during our stay. "We had amazing stay at the Villa in the hills of Buti, Italy. It was centrally located which allowed us to visit 6 different destinations, Lucca, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and Cinque Terre! The house was cozy and quaint with comfortable beds. The view from the outside patio was breathtaking and even took a dip in the pool, a little chilly but invigorating! Marco and Guilia were very attentive to everything we needed. The Chef dinner was delicious and fun! A week we will never forget....

"We had a fantastic stay, the house has so much character and charm, and we really felt at home. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca. Andrea was really easy to communicate with and was extremely helpful when one of our family members was ill. Highly recommend staying here!"

"This is a fantastic place. The beauty of the property and surrounding mountains and valleys is stunning. Once there you almost don´t want to leave for any day trips. Usually pictures are better than the reality. This time it was the other way around. And the pics already were great. The pool on the property is golden. Really clean and nice. And in the hot summer time a very needed place to cool down. In sweltering heat, some of the rooms get pretty hot. Others stayed cool. Some, not all rooms...

"Beautiful location just 15mins from Pisa and 40mins the coast. Villa was in an beautiful location. But only 10 mins walk to village where restaurants are. Supermarket only 5 mins drive. Villa itself was very spacious and clean. Had all facilities that though worked needed updating. Maybe more fans needed as it was unusually warm. The pool was perfect and the boys loved. WiFi was not great but this was not a big deal for me as it was for the others."

"I knew instantly when I saw the listing for this Villa that it stood apart from the others! In person though it is even more beautiful! The owner is a decorator and his home is like a showroom for his talent and taste. We even visited his design shop where we loved things everywhere we looked. He( Giovanni) is very nice and even brought us breakfast one morning! To talk about our magical stay I must talk about the manager, Martina! From her beautiful welcoming smile to her unbelievable...

"Villa Tirinzano is very special. A fabulous location in spectacular countryside. Everything you could possibly want for a family group holiday. Separate apartments but also great communal living and dining space and great outdoor eating/dining space. The gardens are amazing and very well maintained. The pool area is great too. "Great villa enjoying fab views and amazing sunsets. The villa is a good 10 mins drive down an unmade track but if you are looking for a quiet of the beaten track retreat its perfect! Larger than average swimming pool."

"This was the perfect way to end our trip, with our young family as we spent pretty much the whole day in the pool! There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! Staff we very helpful and welcoming!"

"Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "

"It was horrible ! No heating (except for one room) no hot water!! We were not able to take our shower, wake up during the night as it was so cold. Run far away !!. I explained the situation to the reception the day after and they were so kind to reduce the price by 1/3. "
