We had plenty of elbow room and loved seeing the goats and donkey and a wonderful walk through the orchard. "From the moment we arrived at the property and identified ourselves as the family staying at Elmo's rest, we were treated like part of the family. We arrived at the house to find everything clean and ready even though we were a couple hours early. The house is a century old so floors creak and some doors stick a bit. "This house was everything we could have asked for and more. The location was amazing. It was secluded at the foot of the mountains, which made for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was quiet and peaceful. It was also centrally located to area attractions, such as, natural bridge, VA safari park, Lynchburg, and the natural bridge caverns.
