"I reserved a non smoking room and when we arrived the room was smelling like a casino, everything was dirty and horrible, they didn’t have more rooms to change me that disgusting room, I was driving from Florida and need a place to stay and there was nothing else around, breakfast was horrible, just tangarines and waffle maker very dirty. This place is a getto very dirty, not even basic breakfast, DO NOT STATE THERE, is better to sleep in your car."

"We had a great stay with some friends at this cozy little cabin! Loved the outdoor seating areas as well! Only issues was the water tank was so small that you were taking very cold showers. As well as one our cabin ceiling fans did not work."

"The property was very clean, quite and convient. Our only real issue and this does not relate to the property was poor Verizon mobile phone service in either Iowa Falls or Alden. However, the Wi-fi in the VRBO made everything OK. We would stay again. Alden was a nice quite, clean town. We enjoyed walking the river area. We would or will stay in the future. Host was very responsive. Parking was good."

The entire property is beautiful, well kept, and surrounded by nature. From the moment we arrived, all the stress of everyday life disappeared.The cabins were incredibly cozy, clean, and comfortable — the perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort. Waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature with coffee on the porch was one of the highlights of our trip.The fishing was fantastic, and the swimming area was perfect for cooling off and enjoying the outdoors. Whether you want adventure or just a relaxing getaway, this place has it all. Evenings by the fire under the stars made the experience unforgettable.You can truly tell the owners care about creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for their guests. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Trailhead Cabins and Camping to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from the busy world!10/10 experience — easily one of the best cabin getaways we’ve ever had!"
