Lakefront cottage on rustic setting in cove

  • This is my beautiful home on Lake Oconee. The 0.6-acre wooded lot magnifies the great outdoors surrounding this 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat from the world. Tucked away in a private cove, it features a big water view just right around the point from Sugar Creek Marina. Relax by the fire pit on the hill or take off from your dock to enjoy the great water of Lake Oconee. Canoe available or dock your own boat. Electricity is available on the dock. You will be surrounded by nature and woods. Your pet is welcome. The open floor plan has the great room attached to the kitchen, filled with new appliances and plenty of cabinet space. Beyond the great room is an outdoor porch with a ceiling and an open deck overlooking the water. Bathe leisurely in the antique clawfoot tub upstairs or choose the downstairs shower. Two bedrooms sleep four, a fold-out couch in the great room sleeps two more, and you can also climb the ladder to the bonus room. TVs with Roku are ready to watch in the living room and queen bedroom. Fire TV in the full bedroom and bonus room. An outdoor camera on the southeast corner of the house, focused on the driveway, has been installed for security purposes. Get ready to spend your time on the lake!

The house was perfect for our stay. Everything we needed was there and the house has great views of the lake. The back deck is huge and is an awesome spot for everyone to hang out and relax. We are already making plans to visit Lake Oconee and stay with Karen again.

Great lake getaway

We loved this house! The setting was so lovely, there was a great view of the lake plus wonderful shade trees and the covered deck was amazing! The owner did an amazing job at stocking the place - she thought of everything which made it feel like home! We will be back!
