Walking into a cool, welcoming space with everything ready, including AC on, ice made in bowl, hot tub ready to go, lovely stocked cabin, pool & floats, made us feel truly cared for. I really appreciate the time and effort Mrs. Judy put into our stay to make it special! The pool is very clean and refreshingly cool- reminds me of Barton Springs spring-fed aquifer. We will definitely be back! "

"The house was fabulous. There was ample space for our 13 guests and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and dining room had all you needed for a large group. The view from the pool was gorgeous and the large hot tub made outside entertainment fabulous. The extra dock area was perfect for late night entertaining. This is a great house. "

"Everything was perfect. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. House was cool, and the screened in porch was relaxing in the morning and evenings. The private beach area was a hit with everyone, and the kayaks were an added plus. Host checked on us to ensure we had everything. Amazing weekend. Tha k you!"

"This was the perfect home for our last minute getaway. We only needed to worry about food because the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We have stayed in this area 4 times and this is my favorite river/water access for kayaking and playing in the sand. The pool is amazing. It was too cold to fully enjoy it but you hardly see pools this deep. Look forward to staying again. "

"The house was okay. But there were some issues which need to be addressed for future guests: There was no complementary dish soap. You either bring your own or buy a small box of homelife necessities, of which dish soap was one. There was no covered parking as was advertised. Check out indtructions were not posted in the house. We received them the night before checkout. Chevkout was at 10am. That is a bit early. Consider 11am. There was only one washcloth in the place! That information should be given at time of booking so i could have brought some with me. We were watching TV and SEVERAL times the channel changed. Apparently the owner lives nearby his actions make this happen -' through his phone. The owner also controls the thermostat. This means when we get up in the morning and go downstairs, it is 65. We had put the thermostat on 71. Yet the upstairs was 73 at night -- too warm. Lastly when the bed was stripped the morning we left, an Asian Lady Beetle was in the sheets. These bugs bite. There was also one in the kitchen. A couple of the pillows were gross."
