The hostel is located close to some main attractions, 20 minutes away by public transportation from the river. There is always somebody working and some of the staff are better than others but overall it was a good experience.
I don't usually stay in hostels - I was in Budapest for the Champions League final and hotels were crazy prices, so I gave a hostel a shot. It was much more comfortable than I'd imagined, and also extremely cool and quirky in its layout. The communal areas area ample and the bed was comfy. It is well located next to the city park and a nearby metro station. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too.

Check-in was smooth and the location is nice - right next to Városliget (City Park). Plenty of public transport in the vicinity and a 40ish minute walk into town.
At times it felt like the staff didn't really want to be there - puts a little dampener on your stay. Our room (mixed 3-bed dorm) was detached from the main hostel building so we felt a little on the outside but no big issue. The room would benefit with some AC - at 30°C outside the room heats up quickly!

Good room
Good cheap hotel. People very welcoming. Don’t stay in the single room as it is right next to 24 hour reception and front door, which shuts noisily.
The hostel itself is set up really cool and pretty much exactly what you would expect. I will say it offered less in ways of connecting with people compared to other hostels I have stayed at and much less than others in the city. However, it was only a 10 minute walk from one of the major train lines and the area is absolutely beautiful with landmarks, and I felt incredibly safe the entire time while traveling alone. Limited dining around but for the price, you can't really beat it.

A simple and cheap place to stay, but the showers didn't have warm water during my visit.
This is probably the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in! There was an outdoor seating area for you to enjoy the summer evenings and several kitchen/dining areas all of which were available for use by everyone regardless of where in the hostel you were. The place had an Alice in Wonderland feel with several doors to different sections being disguised as wall mirrors which is a touch I personally enjoyed. The hostel itself is not very centrally located however there is a metro station less than a 10 minute walk from the hostel which will have you in the centre in less than 10 minutes! My only complaint about the room is there were no mirrors physically in the twin room we stayed in so drying and styling hair etc was a bit of a challenge.
Overall, a budget friendly place to stay for a sightseeing trip!
Volt lehetőség a bőröndjeink elhelyesésére is poggyászmegőrzés-szerűen, amíg a Városligetben programunk volt.
Csendes volt a környezet, egyedi a design. A kutyusunk is jól érezte magát.
Köszönjük!
We had a lovely stay at the Baroque hostel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
The city is beautiful, lovely architecture and history throughout the city.
On recommande!
