"An exemplary five‑star experience.
Our host for the week Kara was excellent throughout our stay. Every detail was considered, including the thoughtful addition of an extra tea bag to accommodate my preference for stronger tea. The room — and indeed the entire establishment — was immaculate, fresh, and warmly inviting (the locally produced crockery was a nice touch).
Breakfast offered a variety of options, each prepared to a consistently high standard. The scrambled eggs with salmon were particularly noteworthy. A further highlight was the morning toast, made with Kara’s homemade bread that set the tone for the day.
The overall experience was so impressive that we confirmed our booking for next year before departing.
