I have a lot to say because I stayed for about 2.5 months. The positive: the location is near lots of stores, cafes and restaurants as well as a great jazz club, and tons of public transport. The apartment is usually quiet and feels secure and sturdy. It's well designed for maximum efficiency and the kitchen in particular has more counter and cupboard space than many larger places. The manager was quick to respond to concerns and was helpful when I arrived and left. Negatives: the place needs love. Some stuff is broken, light bulbs were missing and the shower leaks water on n the floor, where it has damaged the bathroom door. Some kitchen stuff is broken, like the toaster. I wish the management had checked in with us to ask how things were. The pillows and some bed clothes were stained and should have been replaced.

The basic bones of this property are excellent, especially the kitchen, and there's quite a bit of storage space. The window lets in lots of light and there's a good view of the sky. The problem is that it's not being well maintained and cared for. Things are getting damaged and breaking and not being replaced or repaired. Lightbulbs were out, several of them, the bidet leaked, the shower got water on the floor (a lot of it), etc. Some of the linens are soiled. There's one washer in the basement that sometimes worked, so I wouldn't count on it. The picture shows the place when it was new, and it's no longer new.The location is excellent, especially in terms of access to public transport and some parks and tons of stores and restaurants. The manager is very responsive, but not sure the owner cares about maintaining the place well.
