"The room was damp and smelled bad when we had checked in. Had I not been exhausted from driving down country roads in a bad storm, I would have driven on. When I woke up, I was covered with bug bites. When I reported it to the front desk, they offered no help and said if I could stay until 3 pm ( it was 8 am), I could talk to the manager. If you’re running a motel and you have a possible bedbug infestation, it is an emergency, unless it is the norm. The manager can’t be disturbed??? So...

"When we booked we were not told that the hotel was under renovation. Only one elevator was working. The first room we were given had a water leak in the bathroom. The second room was very clean but the toilet didn’t flush very well. The lobby smells like cigarette smoke. The breakfast was good. Many carpet stains."
