Supposedly 20,000 people come to Bunol (a village of 9,000 residents) during La Tomatina. We were amazed to see people sleeping on the sidewalks when we walked through town the morning of the main festivities. We were lucky enough to claim some benches (outdoors) at the small train station.

Luckily we were able to rinse of with a garden hose before we traveled to Bruge by train.

"They are good, just be aware that they have two hotels, one. 3 stars and other one 4 stars so the pictures in the booking are mostly for the 4 stars building that is in the same street but the loony and rooms are a little bit different, but in general is a good hotel, the staff is pretty friendly."

"Lovely comfortable and very clean room. Plenty of towels etc. I had room 11 on the ground floor which did not feel very private, however the curtains were good - it was just a shame not to be able to open up for the natural light. Only problem I had was some very noisy people upstairs from me who sounded like they were moving furniture around in the night - however not the accommodations fault and other than that it was very quiet. "
