Supposedly 20,000 people come to Bunol (a village of 9,000 residents) during La Tomatina. We were amazed to see people sleeping on the sidewalks when we walked through town the morning of the main festivities. We were lucky enough to claim some benches (outdoors) at the small train station.

Luckily we were able to rinse of with a garden hose before we traveled to Bruge by train.

"Carlos and June where a pleasure to deal with and we had a great stay at the villa. On arrival the villa was clean and the pool was Crystal clear, just what we needed after a days traveling. Lovely villa and garden, but hiring a car is nessesary as we struggled finding taxis to take us into Valencia. The drive into Valencia was simple and only took 25mins. "From the planning stage to check in Joaquin and Daniel were very helpful. The villa is in a nice quiet neighborhood about 10 min walk from a Farmacia with minimart and 25 min walk from the village centre of La Canyada. The pool was very large and much appreciated by all. "This house is just perfect! It has everything you need to spend a comfortable and pleasant holiday in Spain. "Beautifully presented, modern villa with a spacious, well kept out door area which was great for the kids to play in. The pool was a very good size and very clean. Our boys were in it all day, every day! Lisa was a great host. She kept in touch before and during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. "Nice standard of new accommodation that also doubles up as student accommodation. Friendly helpful staff at reception and the hotel is very near the Empalme station. There is a restaurant that does a buffet style breakfast and evening meals. There are some restaurants and bars around 10 minutes away, although I dare say most will opt for the short journey into town. Overall a good place to stay in Valencia."
