"Castiglion del Bosco is truly exquisite, the perfect way to experience Tuscany in luxury while still feeling completely surrounded by nature. The property is impeccable, from the beautiful gardens and grounds to the elegant rooms. Everything feels authentically Italian, refined and incredibly well maintained. The service is exceptional and very personalized. The staff genuinely goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. General Manager Nicola Migheli even greeted us personally upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. We also saw him regularly walking the property with his team, and it was clear how hands-on he is with every detail. One thing to know is that getting in and out requires about 40 minutes on a bumpy dirt road. It wasn’t terrible, but worth mentioning if you plan to explore frequently. That said, this is a hotel you don’t need to leave. It’s a beautiful place to slow down, relax and enjoy Tuscany in a truly special setting. We absolutely loved our stay!"

"We loved our stay, hope to be back, and would recommend to anyone visiting Tuscany! The view from almost anywhere on the property is absolutely stunning and we felt immediately relaxed after a week of Italian city life- the location feels remote but is close to many attractions, little medieval towns, and amazing wineries. We witnessed the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises up on the hill by the pool. The borgo itself is idyllic, rustic, and charming with lots of character. The pool is wonderful (although a bit chilly in mid Sept :) ) with lots of seating and again a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked and all of the extras (like coffee, water, juice, bread, jams, teas, sugar, olive oil, vinegars, salt, pepper, and wine) were so helpful and appreciated, limiting what we needed to buy at the local Coop. Multiple rooms had fresh flowers (such a lovely touch), there was lots of clothing storage, and nice bath towels. We saw a few red foxes, a large bunny, countless birds (heard 15 different species according to my Merlin app), and many of the property cats who hung out with us while we enjoyed our wine in the multiple communal seating areas. We are so happy we selected this property after looking at so many others in the area - it was a wonderful, relaxing stay!"

"Our stay in Tuscany was one of our favorite parts of our entire Italy trip, and this farmhouse was a big part of what made it so special. The property is absolutely stunning. We actually extended our stay and stayed in two different rooms, and both were gorgeous, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spotless. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do nearby. The location is perfect, less than five minutes from the charming town of Montalcino, with so many wineries just a short drive away. We did a wine tour and tasting less than 10 minutes from the property. Breakfast was included and delicious, with so much variety. The grounds are beautiful as well, with gorgeous plants, a lovely pool, and even a vineyard on the property. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!"

"Ubicado frente a la plaza, es un hotel muy sencillo, atendido cálidamente por su dueña. Ella está siempre dispuesta a ayudarte en lo que necesites. La habitación tiene aire acondicionado, pero es muy ruidoso. La cama es cómoda, grande y la ropa de blanco excelente. Pedí con anticipación desayuno apto celíacos y me preparó una bandeja con varios panes y muffins muy ricos sin gluten."

"This was the most unique place we have ever stayed at and would recommend the apartment styles room to anyone. Our apartment was ina separate facility right down the road in a 1,000 year old church! We had a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, sitting area, and a bathroom. It was very clean and so quaint! We ate breakfast 2 mornings at the main house, which was delicious. We also had the option to eat dinner while we were there, which we did 1 night. Dinner was served outside overlooking the grape vines. There was a pool which we utilized every afternoon since the temperatures reached in the 90s while we stayed during the day. Even though there was no A/C, the apartment did cool down at night and was comfortable with the 2 fans running. If we could give any ideas to improve, it would only be to maybe add an air conditioner in the bedroom only, but like I said earlier, even though it was very hot during the day- it did cool down at night. Cool place!"
