The location is beautiful and out of the way, but only 20 mins to downtown Ithaca. You are also close to State Parks and wineries. The ambiance is stunning. "The view over the lake was spectacular for sunsets and especially full moon! The place was spotless and had everything we needed, with very comfortable furniture. Could use a small step stool to get into and out of the bed, and maybe a small half door across the stairs for safety, especially at night. "

"The apartment was in a great location. Easy access to Watkins Glen and the wineries. It was clean (very)and had all the amenities needed. Which is a relief when you only see photos. The binder provided was informative and aided in decisions of places to go and eat. The little waterfall at the back was pleasing to sit by. Maybe a few chairs would be nice too. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone who just needs to get away and relax "

"We stayed during the off season (April) and loved the location of this place to some of our favorite wineries! It's also a quick trip into Watkins Glen. The place itself was quirky with a fully stocked kitchen and clean bathroom. We saw the owners a few times and they are incredibly friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Other reviews complained about the beds but we didn't mind them at all. The living space was perfect for our two kids to play."

"We enjoyed being able to walk from the property to the Cascadilla Gorge Trail (don't miss it!) and to the Ithaca Common. The host was very gracious and extremely responsive to communication. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is small, but it was adequate to meet our needs for a few days."
