Country living reminders:
Please refrain from putting anything other than toilet paper in the toilet, we are on a septic system. We are on well water, while there is a water softener filtration system, it is not perfect, and you may notice a sulfur smell from time to time. The water has been tested and is potable (safe for drinking, bathing, etc). For your convenience, we also provide a water cooler which dispenses ice water, room temperature water, and hot water for tea or French press coffee.

Pet policy:
If you will be bringing a dog, please add it to the reservation as there is a $150 non refundable pet fee. More than 1 dog or any other type of pet will need to be approved on a case by case basis, please inquire before booking (additional fees may apply for more than one dog or for pet damage or messes discovered after the reservation). Please refrain from allowing dogs on the furniture and beds.

Winter months:
For reservations during winter months (November-March), 4WD or AWD vehicle is recommended to access the home in case of snow or ice as it 1/4 mile down a non-paved lake road.

Fire policy:
Please note; use of the fireplace in the living room is not permitted. You are invited to use and enjoy the outdoor fire pit located to the right of the deck in a grove of trees.

Chateau Willow is located in the town of Hector which is home to many wineries, breweries, and restaurants. It is on a private lake road with a few neighbors above and several more below. Feel free to walk around the private road if you would like, but please mindful of not disturbing neighbors.

Public transportation hasn't quite reached Seneca Lake yet, although there are a few Uber drivers. Uber service is available intermittently so to be safe, plan to travel in your own vehicle or set up a transportation service (more detail in guidebook). The nearby main road (414) is quite busy and not recommended for walking. Feel free to reach out for a ride if you are in a bind, and will certainly help if possible!

Even better than the pictures
The house is beautiful. We loved sitting on the outside deck watching the sunset as we ate dinner. Casey has so many little touches around the house including a welcome sign, coffee grounds made especially for the house, a welcome bottle of champagne, bath bombs and soaps. One of the ladies in our party left some garments in a drawer and Casey was kind enough to mail back to us. She definitely went above and beyond. We had such a wonderful time exploring all of the wineries and breweries that were in close proximity to the house. We will be back!

Definitely recommend!!
The stay here was amazing. Casey was very responsive any time I sent her a message. She had the house stocked better than any other place I've stayed in. There was everything we needed for showers, eating utensils and condiments. Even games and books for entertainment! The driveway was a little steep but the location was so close to so many wineries! 100% would go back and recommend!

Excellent property! Perfect location!
My wife and I spent a long weekend here following our wedding. This home was perfect for our stay! The property itself sits on a large private lot with incredible views to enjoy from the deck. We loved being able to relax in the hot tub! The home was exceptionally clean with a well stocked kitchen to make cooking easy. The host was very kind and left us a welcome gift of wine to celebrate! She also provided us with an extensive guide book that laid out all the best wineries and restaurants in the area as well as top trails to hike! The location of this home can’t be beat, central to all the best wineries with dozens only a few minutes away. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the finger lakes region and we hope to be back in the future! Thank you!

Anniversary celebration
My husband and I celebrated an early 35th wedding anniversary long weekend with our adult sons/daughter in laws…Casey was amazing from start to finish! She was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Was very happy to actually meet her in site and she couldn’t have been more gracious! The home was spacious and beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi after long days hiking the Watkins Glen state park and visiting wineries. This is without a doubt the best stay at a VRBO we have ever experienced. Thank you Casey!!!!

Great Stay!
We had a wonderful experience at Chateau Willow! The property itself was gorgeous, and Casey had so many cute touches inside, from a personalized welcome board, to lovely amenities and decor in each room. It was right in the heart of the Seneca Wine Trail, which was perfect for our girls weekend. Casey was very responsive and helpful as well. A must-stay!

This was the perfect property for a relaxing Finger Lakes getaway.
We couldn’t have found a better place for our mother/daughter getaway. The house was better than advertised. It was welcoming, clean, well stocked, and roomy. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. It was close to Watkins Glen and plenty of wineries. I highly recommend it.
