"Sehr gut organisierte Übergabe des Hauses. Haus ist interessant renoviert und hat auch einen großen Garten, den wir zwar aufgrund der Temperaturen nicht nutzten, aber dennoch als gut empfanden. Hier kann man sicher gut seine Hunde laufen lassen, da alles eingezäunt ist. Im Winter ist es leider eher schwer, das Gebäude gut warm zu halten, da aus wohl baulichen Gründen nur Infrarotheizungen vorhanden sind und gleichzeitig das Gebäude nicht sehr gut isoliert zu sein scheint. "The hotel is within walking distance of Bamberg’s Old Town, making it a convenient location for exploring the city. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they include everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of good options. The spa is a bit outdated and nothing special, but it is still functional. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, and it also offers a parking garage for an additional €20 per night."

"The staff was great at this hotel. Breakfast was fantastic! Eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit and yogurt and meats and cheese and various cereals. There is a coffee machine with great selection. Free parking and free breakfast...great grocery stores next door. 30 mins from Nuremberg Rock Im Park and the Imperial Castle. The location was great and there is even a fridge in the room. Would definitely stay here again in the future!"

"I enjoyed this hotel in Erlangen and my only regret is that I didn't get to explore more of Erlangen itself. Most of what we were doing was in Nuremberg proper, which is about a half hour total travel time (trains and walking) each way from this hotel. The nearest train stop is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There's a little breakfast place a few steps away from the hotel and it was very good. The hotel itself has a large lobby that is essentially open all night as well, but I do not believe you can order food. There's vending machines though, and staff are great. Just note that you do need to make use of public transit if you're travelling from this hotel to Nuremberg because Uber/Taxi will be at least €60 each way otherwise. Nuremberg is expensive like nothing I've ever seen in Germany lol but staying in Erlangen offset the costs a lot, so don't be afraid to learn the train systems to make use of this hotel a little further away from the main areas."
