The property is very simple but accommodating. For a person on the Camino looking for their own clean room with facilities, or even a couple, this is just meters from the municipal alburgue.
Clean amenities, great shower, simple.
I enjoyed my stay.
I can't review this particular stay, because Hotels.com sold me a room that wasn't available! Very frustrating when I turned up to a locked front door and no record of my booking.
However, I will give rave reviews for the service by the people who run it. I didn't catch the name of the man I spoke to when I called the number on the door, but he was friendly and apologetic, and had me sorted out with a room at a sister property (at the same price) within 5 minutes.
However, note that neither property is a hotel - I stayed in the "Urban" version. It was nice and spotlessly clean. I loved the room itself, the location, etc.. Everything was perfect except that the walls were paper thin. Let's just say that my neighbours were "active" both very late at night and quite early in the morning, and the Urban property is above a coffee shop that opens at 6 AM. I tried earplugs, headphones, white noise, but it was impossible to block everything out. Net result was about 5 hours of proper sleep between two very long days of driving. I feel bad writing this because of how quickly they solved my problem, but then I think quality sleep is a key feature of a place to stay. I hope I was just unlucky that particular night. Other than the noise issue, I'd give 5**** and would recommend either place!!
Place is amazing and price is good.
We had to waste more than 30 minutes finding parking. So, if you are driving you better take a hotel outside the pedestrian area that’s the whole “casco viejo” meaning old downtown.
I was surprised by how nice this place was given its price and the fact that it is a hostel. The room was big and clean and the location was super central. FYI, its location does make parking difficult, but we eventually found some free parking not too far away. There was no staff there (not sure if this was because of the covid crisis or just how they normally do things), but check-in was super easy. They sent us a text with the door codes, room number, etc.
This is a property where check in/out/details are on line. No direct interaction with property managers, even direct texts.
Property lists wifi, but no password given (in email or texts or in room itself) - and I never received a response to text inquiry. However, as I was leaving I found the password leaving the floor with the rooms, I should probably have noticed it sooner.
Otherwise, great property for simple overnights with basic amenities - great shower.

Horrible night, but clean and modern
A nice and clean room, as shown in the pictures, but all in all the night was horrible. It was almost 40 degrees outside, and inside, and the room did not have air condition. When we opened the window, we discovered that there was a club just below our room that played music until 0500. We got almost no sleep that night. We will not come back.
The room was basic and over priced - the shower gel was in sachets, the towels were so thin, the bed was very hard, the furniture had all the paint chipped, no hairdryer or iron. We were also never emailed the code to enter the building and when we arrived, unable to enter, had a very rude man on the other end of the phone.

Unsafe and extremely loud
The hotel doesn’t have a reception, so you presumably have to get a code via SMS to get in, which I didn’t receive booking through hotels.com. That makes it a bit of a hassle. The code works to both the outer door and your room, which made me feel unsafe as a solo female traveler.
The room itself is OK, but sits across a very busy bar, so the noise is incredibly loud. On a Thursday it was possible to sleep at 4.30 - until then, it was like trying to sleep in a busy bar…

Very well situated!had a bit of difficulty getting in ,but soon sorted out with code sent to me!clean and comfortable double bed, in room with small balcony!fantastic b,room, shower great!overall highly recommend its!can be noisy at weekends?but double glazing and fan in room!one other thing is payment was taking from my card before I arrived!which has cost me a lot more in exchange rate?instead of card i would have paid with at property!overall no problems staying again!thank you
Good affordable option if you are doing the Camino. 2 minutes from a decent breakfast and you can get your credentials at the municipal Albergue near by.
