"Pros: The house was very well decorated and clean. It has modern appliances. The beds were comfortable. There's a nice grill on the front porch. The internet works well and the TV works well. The two bathrooms are nice. Great communication with the owner. Quiet neighborhood and very close to Bramwell and the trails. It is one of the nicer homes I've rented in WV to ride the Hatfield/McCoy trails. Cons: When we arrived, the house was over 80 degrees and had the smell of old cigarettes. It would've been nice for the A/C to have been turned on, and the house ventilated better. It is a no smoking property, so I'm guessing that residents in past years smoked in the house which makes it hard to get rid of the smell. The driveway is tough. I had a 12' trailer and it was hard to navigate because of the steepness. I wouldn't have been able to back up the driveway without the use of four wheel drive."

"This place was absolutely breathtaking. We watched the sun set in all its glory. We didn’t get to stay as long as we wanted to. We plan on going back and taking our grandchildren. CJ was amazing in showing us around and helping us feel welcome."

"Nice to be able to be among the cows and donkeys. Onsite host very nice and went out of his way to give us information and tour. Comfortable bed and pillows. Train tracks on property. Fire pit, with wood provided. Coffee and snacks appreciated. Nice porches. Bathroom door could be more private and some small-issue repairs/upkeep could use addressing, but nothing that would keep me from staying here again with immediate family. Good mini split AC. We enjoyed our stay at this location that was a convenient stop on our trip south."

"The home itself is absolutely beautiful. It has a warm, inviting, relaxing feel. I highly recommend for the view, as a getaway, and for star gazing. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Pleasant aesthetics. Even nicer, the kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped for anything you could need. The complimentary snacks and refreshments were also very thoughtful. Id love to come back again and stay longer."

"I stayed at the Secluded Cabin for a halfway stop on a trip back to Ohio from South Carolina. Real close to I-77, which is awesome. The cabin is fantastic. Once inside you wouldn't think you were in a cabin on top of a mountain basically. Little small touches of decor inside and outside with plantings made it all the better. They had everything I needed to cook and grill there, except the food of course. The property outside is well maintined. I saw deer and hummingbirds while sitting on the really awesome covered front porch. The views of the mountains from the porch were amazing. Marc and Lindy are great hosts. They met me when I got there to assure I was good, then I was left on my own and I felt real comfortable inside the cabin and out. I highly recommend this property. I love the outdoors in mountains or hills. This property hit the spot. I'll be back when I go south again."

"Renee was very responsive and easy to work with. The property was amazing and I really wish we had more time during our trip to really check it out. Our kids loved the animals, especially the sweet dog that greeted us! The place was very clean and well-managed. It was a perfect space for the four of us and for the great price, much better than any hotel you could find. It's not very far at all from the quaint, yet lively town of Wytheville where there are some great restaurants. Our 15 yo had the best compliment of the place saying, "Are there any colleges around here and do you think they would rent this place to me? I'd love to live here!" Thank you Renee and we'd love to rent this place again from you in the future."
