"What a dreamy weekend. We were in need of a reset and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. Stone Ranch in Gridley Kansas is super reasonable and the owners are laid back and amazing. They came out and fished with the kids and threw dogfood so the kids could see the fish feed. It’s the type of place where you can catch almost every cast. Our pups were off leash the whole time and they have the best Pup Denali It’s 150 acres where you rent a golf cart and go from pond to lake on little adventures. There is a waterfall, a lazy River to Kayak and rock beds for kids to find frogs, snakes, crawdads galore. There is a Pig, goats with hilarious names , mini cows and chickens. They sell farm fresh eggs. The cabins are darling and I love the extra touches and the AC is great no roughing it. The sunsets, the landscapes, amazing still nights gazing at stars with the perfect bonfire that Country life. Truly the perfect weekend getaway less than 2 hours away from KC. I thought long and hard about if I wanted to share this gem but can’t help but want to support these cool people. I hope you enjoy as much as we did.
