"The condo was beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary pans, dishes. We loved the beautiful porch and spent hours out there playing cards and relaxing. Burnt Store Marina is a beautiful well-kept area and safe. We enjoyed breakfasts at the Trading Post which was a nice walk in the morning. CassCay had great burgers and and music. This was our first visit to Punta Gorda and we will sure vacation there again!"

"This was the perfect getaway for a week long stay! Dorian is an excellent communicator.The house is absolutely perfect! The decor fits the Mermaid Tales theme. Bed is comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked and the lanai is a dream! The pool and spa were so appreciated coming from the North in January. The neighborhood provides for easy walking to get your steps in and to get tips from very friendly neighbors.We saw manatees very early in the morning at Sirenia Vista, which is a close drive. We went to a farmers market in a plaza nearby and bought some delicious fresh fruit. We discovered a store at the end of our trip called Farmer Joe's. Next time we visit, we will get groceries and prepared foods there. They have a great selection and offer samples.This home is amazing! We highly recommend it and plan to return!"

"Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing.We paid over 500 for pool heat and complied with all stated requirements, including providing the required 72-hour notice and booking within the advertised heating season. Despite this, the pool was 65F upon arrival, which indicates it was either not turned on ahead of check-in or not functioning properly. We contacted management immediately and were told a pool company would be sent out, but it took 10 days for a technician to arrive. At that point, we were told the system only needed additional salt.The listing explains that the pool heater is a heat pump and that performance depends on air temperature. I own and operate an HVAC company and work with heat pumps regularly, and based on that professional experience, the explanation provided does not align with what we experienced. A properly sized and functioning heat pump should not result in a 65F pool after proper notice, nor should it remain in the low-to-mid 70s for most of a 13-day stay. This points to either an undersized unit or a system not operating correctly. Given the significant extra cost, the pool heat felt like a waste of money.The home is advertised as pet-friendly, but the pet odor throughout the house was strong. Running the vacuum released an overwhelming smell, and the bedding and comforters were also affected, to the point that we had to wash them after the first night to be comfortable.Overall, the issues with the pool heating and cleanliness significant"
