"We had a wonderful stay at The Bear Inn. Piglet room was lovely, very clean with comfy beds and we loved the continental breakfast basket. Staff were all very helpful and friendly too. "

"Old style boozer with rooms above in a bit of a ram-shackle state. Very basic and in a state of disrepair in parts. Bathroom door only on by one hinge, bathroom with bare plaster board and lots of tools and cleaners trolleys in the hallways and a strange diy metal fire escape. Was unable to re enter the hotel to get something we forgot when we left early one morning. Despite this it was a cheap and cheerful place to stay. "
