"The cabin was fun to stay in. I'm not a LOTR person but I still appreciated it all. Only down side I would say is I'm a longer shower person and the hot water is more for quick showers "

"The house is great. Megan contacted me with all the info on the house and there was plenty of plates, cups and other dishwear along with all the pots and pans we needed. There was also a supply of condiments to get is started. They checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was OK and when we needed to extend our stay they were very accommodating. "Our stay at the Log House was absolutely wonderful. We stayed for about a week around Christmas and the house was decorated beautifully! We are big on homecooked meals around this time so a well stocked/equipped kitchen is important to us, and it met all our needs from cooking to baking. Plenty of space for 7 adults. The beds are comfortable. Communication with the host was very easy. The few issues that did arise were addressed and dealt with quickly. Overall well worth the stay and we would book again in the future. "

"My spouse and I wanted to get-away after Christmas, but before the CPA tax season starts. This was a great house. Quiet and homey. We had a small maintenance issue with the house and owner came by right away to fix. Would recommend."

"We had an excellent stay, the hotel was clean, the beds comfortable, a full hot breakfast was provided which was great! We didn’t have time to use the pool area but we did stop by. It was clean and the water felt warm. The people on staff were helpful and polite upon checking in and checking out. Price was very reasonable too, this hotel was a gem! "
