"Décevant pour le prix payé pour un hôtel au Burundi. Certes le cadre est idyllique. Hôtel au bord du lac Tanganyika (même si les plages sont très restreintes à cause de la montée des eaux). Nous avons dû changer de chambre à notre arrivée car les toilettes étaient en mauvais état. On nous a alors proposé de nous surclasser mais à nos frais. Nous avons refusé. La piscine n'était pas fonctionnelle durant une grande partie de notre séjour (problème de pompe et de filtration).

What a breath of fresh air the hotel was. I loved every single second there and I wish I could have been able to stay an extra day or so

The best place to stay when in Bujumbura. Located in the hills overlooking the city centre. Very safe. Very big rooms with excellent air conditioning. Perfect hotel with great, friendly staff. The only shortcoming is that it's not in the center and it's a bit hard to find. Hotel is located 2 blocks away from a mosque, which at 3 in the morning blasts their obnoxious, annoying call to prayer, even though Burundi is not a Muslim country, per se.
