"Paul is a really friendly and very helpful host. Our 2 night stay, was very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed. We had privacy and peace throughout. The Annex is clean, well maintained, practical and also spacious. Unwinding here was simple and if that is what you are looking for, you cannot go wrong by staying here. "The photos make this property look a lot better than the reality. The reality is that the house is very tired and in need of TLC. The entire place stank of bleach when we arrived, yet simple things like cobwebs and dirty cupboard doors had not been cleaned. Half eaten and opened food from previous guests had been left in the cupboards. Bugs were found in one bed. Packets of rizla were found by our children in the garden on the furniture. "From booking to leaving the whole experience has been amazing.we had a very pleasant greeting and our room was upgraded. The room was on the first floor , very pleasant room with settee seperate bathroom , tea coffee facilities and robe with slippers. We used the spa and the breakfast was included i had porridge and toast with ample tea. My husband upgraded to an omlette which was tasty. Fantastic service and we were made to feel special. Thank you "
