Play off weekend

My nephew a few friends and I travel to the Poconos for a getaway and to watch the football playoffs. The house was perfect! Located in a beautiful neighborhood, skiing on site, safe and peaceful. The house is spacious.and comfortable. Livable. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. House was clean. The beds were comfortable. Close to tubing and skiing. Great place for a family. We might make this an annual event! Thank you!

Cool family getaway

My family and I wanted to go away for the week for a fun forest escape. The place is surrounded by woods and off main paths. Tons of trails and beautiful community center allow for long walks, several minute drive to the pool and lake. Mattresses were comfortable, they have smart tvs in every room and even a fireplace. The owners left us a gift basket of s'mores and even treats for our dog. Great getaway!

Great place, great property managers, ton of wild life, and great central pocono location. However, the gated community and the shear size of the community was not ideal for us. We typically like a more secluded place where we are asked less questions and have less lease accountability.

Beautiful getaway

The property was very beautiful and well maintained inside and out. It's a bit of a process to get into the community to wait on a line each entry, but that's the only negative. Everything else was luxurious. Excellent and responsive answers to questions about property and changes. Well stocked kitchen, beautiful and comfy rooms. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean home

The owners were responsive, kind, patient and flexible with us from the very beginning to the last day. The house is well set up to be a comfy warm stay. The amenities available were also a huge plus(although we didn't take advantage of them, it was a very nice option). The kitchen was well spaced out for mass cooking/baking & fridge was spotless. We had shared our reason for travel was a birthday celebration & the owners surprised us with a birthday cake, all set up in a gorgeous glass cake dish. It's the little things that make a trip & seeing my fiances face light up as we walked in was such a warm and comforting way to enter a new space. Our fur babies loved the house. They were immediately comfortable and lounging around the basement(they preferred the carpeted space). Toiletries ran low but instacart delivers to the house so we had all we needed without needing to venture to a store Would book again and would certainly recommend for a nice relaxing quiet stay

Family getaway

We needed a change of scenery after being cooped up for 3 months and this house was great! Room for 6 adults, a toddler and 2 large dogs. It's clear the owners take care of their property. There were many new updates- the basement is great! I'm a picky renter and would absolutely recommend this house! Kitchen was fairly well stocked (toaster, coffee grinder, kurig, hand held mixer, pots and pans). Only things I would've liked were a few more plates (especially if my group was bigger) and a small roasting pan. Porches and screened in porch got a ton of use as did the hammock! AC worked great in the house (but house stays cool thru the mornings with windows open). No ACS in the bedrooms but open windows and fans were ok for us. I really have nothing bad to say - it's really a good spot and the owners are beyond accommodating!

Serenity

This getaway home was amazing. From the moment I walked in I was hit was such a wonderful and good clean smelling aroma. The whole entire house was not only beautiful and spacious but so neat and well organized. I absolutely loved that the hosts left a Happy Birthday cake after I shared that it was multiple occasions that were being celebrated; my husband's birthday being one of them. Aside from being so thoughtful and leaving a cake for us, I was floored by our personalized letters that awaited us as well, not only was there one welcoming my husband and I but there was also a letter to my fur babies Bella and Yoda from the hosts fur baby Buster :) they also had left treats and goodies for us all. That was such a thoughtful gesture and left such a smile on my face, it just really warmed my heart. I had great communication with the hosts as well, from the moment I booked to the moment we arrived, throughout my stay when I had any questions all the way up to checking out. I can go on and on with my review lol but I'll just say we enjoyed our time so much that we ended up extending our stay for an extra day. My only advice would be to make sure for the days you're booking that all amenities that are available within the complex and activities or even restaurants around the area are open just to make the best of your time because on certain days of the week there was a lot of things closed. We cannot wait to return with the rest of our family. Thank you again.

I decided to do a last minute booking at this property and I could not be more pleased. The house was super clean and inviting. I’m picky with cleanliness and it was spotless. Loved sitting on the screened porch watching nature and the pool time was amazing. They have a restaurant and bar at the outdoor pool which was a lot of fun. The owner was super nice and was easy to reach with a special request we made. Will definitely be back!

I think we may have been the first occupants for the season, and the house must have been locked up for a few months. The house really needed to be aired out, there was a serious musty smell when we got in, especially in the basement. There were dried leaves, obviously from last fall, on the patio and the screened patio, and thick cobwebs as well. I ended up having to broom the patios just so it could be more comfortable and clean for our use. The patio chairs and cushions needed to be cleaned as well. There were also some issues with the shower heads in two of the bathrooms. The owner was nice, but I would recommend that he visit the house prior to visitors coming in to make sure the house is up to standard.

Phil was a great host. I don’t think he ever sleeps because even late at night he answers my questions. The pool table is a plus. We shared memories with my family in that cozy house.

2 family getaway

My family and my brother's family rented this house for a week. It was 4 teens ages 14-19 and 4 adults. We stayed at the beginning of August when temps were in the 80s with high humidity and a lot of rain. The house is spacious and easily accommodated our party. The hosts were reachable and responsive. We had an initial glitch the first night when we realized that there was AC only in the master bedroom, living room and dining room. The other 2 bedrooms only had ceiling fans and the occupants couldn't figure out how to leave the fan on but turn the lights off. Once we figured that out it was fine. There is also a dehumidifyer in the basement that we emptied regularly that significantly helped keep the downstairs cool too. It rained every day except one, so there was a lot of pool playing and board games, and one night of a fire in the firepit. The location was perfect for a hike at Dingman's ferry, a kayak trip down the delaware, and a movie. The house was well appointed, the facilities in the community nice, scenery beautiful and hosts responsive. All in all I would highly recommend and would rent here again.

Family reunion,

Great to get back to Dingmans Ferry. Nice to see not much has changed. Enjoyed several amenities in the neighborhood. Top of the world, 5k and lives seeing the deer and turkeys. Lovely area

Best Holiday Getaway

We had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful. You can tell the owners cares about their property. The little touches went a long way. They even left us a welcome basket. Definitely a great place to stay. The community amenities are fantastic. We loved the pool. The entire community is well maintained. I would come back again.
