About this property
Porthole Cottage, Dunseverick, Bushmills
PORTHOLE COTTAGE has a superb location on the Causeway Coastal Route set in farmland above Whitepark Bay. The cover picture is of Ballintoy, a Game of Thrones location and it's only a short drive to the Dark Hedges, also featured in filming Game of Thrones. Many attractions of the Causeway Coast region are just a five minute drive - eg, Bushmills, Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede, Portballintrae, Dunluce Castle and Ballycastle. Ideally placed for visiting Belfast, Londonderry and Donegal. For Daniel O’Donnell fans a day trip to his home area of Kincasslagh in Donegal is a real treat.

This accommodation was a lovely two bedroom cottage in a quiet area close to White Park Bay. Scrupulously clean with everything a guest could need supplied. So warm and cosy and the owners were friendly and accommodating, happy to answer any questions and lived on the grounds. I stayed there with my dog and enjoyed the amenities close by, the beaches and the lovely walks. I will return and recommend this cottage without hesitation
Margaret and Bill were very accommodating hosts for my friends and I. This was our first time in Belfast, so they had lots of recommendations for us and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was cozy and tidy, and we all felt very welcomed. The location was very convenient as it was close drive to the Giant's Causeway, Dunluce & Dunseverick Castles, and many more must-see destinations. My friends and I have already talked about coming back as there is so much more to see.
This home was awesome! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Owners live next door and were so friendly and responsive. The had grrat suggestions for us and gave us freshly baked bread. The location of this hone was perfect for our visit. Closr to many places we wanted to visit. We would definitely book here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Porthole cottage. The owners Margaret and Bill were so friendly and helpful. The cottage is traditionally furnished with very comfortable beds and is well equipped with all you will need for your stay. The location is perfect for exploring all along the Causeway Coast and inland with a trip to Bushmills Distillery highly recommended as well.
The property was as advertised. The owners were near to assist with an issues. We enjoyed our stay. We walked the beach at Whitepark a few times. It was beautiful and an unexpected highlight. The sheep were fun to watch too.
Lovely cottage. A wonderful couple with whom we instantly bonded. There was a fresh loaf of bread on the kitchen table which we toasted and had for breakfast with butter and jam. The house was central to several sights and restaurants. We were sorry to leave after three days.
Bill and Margaret were lovely -- communicated thoroughly pre-arrival and were waiting for us when we arrived. There was delicious homemade bread with butter and cream waiting for us.
Property was as described -- perfect for us, although could have accommodated several more people. Bonus washer/dryer and all other amenities.
Very short walk to the beach -- just watch as it's all downhill which makes the trek back more challenging.
We will be back.
The cottage is lovely Clean, neat, and comfortable. The location couldn't be better being in the centre of the coastal causeway.Margaret and Bill were excellent hosts.
A lovely stay in a lovely part of the world. The hosts were very nice and friendly. They gave clear instructions and directions. The house was nice and clean and warm, and the beds were comfortable. We were able to have a nice fire in the fireplace, which was really nice. The surrounding area was beautiful.
Property is a two bedroom cottage with fully equipped kitchen - ideal home from home.Located 10 minute walk from Whitepark Bay Beach. Anyone who enjoys walking with ready access to Antrim coast then this is the place to stay.

We loved our stay in this nice little cottage. Bill and Margaret are outstanding hosts and incredibly kind. Communication was great prior to arrival and during our stay. The cottage is quaint and was a perfect home base as we explored the coast of Northern Ireland!
