I sent a message to the owner asking what the code was to get in the door and without saying a word to me they cancelled the reservation. We were staying there for 2 nights and we were forced to find other accommodations last minute which ended up being a huge pain because you can’t book same day through VRBO. "Although the weather was chilly for Florida. The afternoon sun warms the backyard and the dock was perfect for a couples outdoor dining. The fish were not biting but we counted 18 species of birds! Great getaway. The house is small but plenty of room to spread out and relax in the common area and the decor was spot on. Found a single serve coffee pot under the kitchen counter. Plenty of blankets and towels. The curtains were thin so adding blinds would be a good upgrade. Enjoyed our stay."

"Secluded, gated property with many opportunities to enjoy the nature of Florida, lakes, birds, farm animals, Spanish moss, live oaks and Magnolia Trees! Beautiful lake view from kitchen, porch, and deck. Biking trails nearby, close towns with wonderful restaurants and lake activities!!! Coordinator responded to every question we had, made suggestions for places to visit and took care of our every need!!! Very relaxing vacation!"

"Had a great stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We were looking for a place that we could bring a boat and enjoy nature while also being close enough to big cities if we wanted. This location was pretty much directly between Tampa and Orlando and gave us the flexibility we were looking for. We saw tons of wildlife on the lakes and rivers and enjoyed ourselves greatly!!"

Positive experience but beds are firm. No issues if you like firm mattresses. We needed to extend our stay and host was very helpful and worked with us to make that happen."

The house on Montoya street was very, very clean, comfortable and such a great location in Lady Lake between Sumpter Lake and Spanish Springs where shopping and Restaurants are easily accessible.
