"The meal options were very good. I am a picky eater and I appreciated the variety. The food was also fresh and tasted pretty good. The staff was amazing and I appreciated that the most. There were some hiccups with our check-in and room accommodations, however I appreciated that the staff rectified it for us. We had no other issues throughout the duration of our stay. The customer service was awesome and that is a quality that hotels and resorts are hit or miss with now days. The resort location is also centralized from all of the activities that we planned. I will even take it a step further and share that I went to one the infamous fancy restaurants there that has a great scenic view and the bulk was over $120 per person but I left the restaurant wishing that I had the resorts dinner instead. So overrated. I would definitely come back to Sugar Bay Resort! "

Owner Mark and Property Manager George were fantastic to deal with and very prompt in responses. Location is great ..close to water and especially to Oistins! "The buffet breakfast was just ok. Options were a bit limited and I thought my omelette had a weird flavour I can’t describe. Not sure if it was the oil or the cheese. Whilst breakfast was included in the stay- the cost was $70 USD for two persons. I thought that was steep considering the limited options. We had drinks and dessert at the bar in the evening- and those were good. We didn’t eat anything else at the property. I thought the rooms were a bit outdated, especially the bathroom, but they were clean- and the bed was comfy. It’s definitely a business hotel because there was no real view to be had as it’s not directly on the main road- perhaps some of the higher floors facing the ocean may have had a view."
