"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."

"The hotel was immaculate and the proprietor was a very interesting, helpful and charming host. We would love to stay there again and explore the historic spar, quarries and mountain landscape. It was great thankyou, and following your route directions worked well (until near the end in the dark, when they took us right, instead of left into the square - the red pointer was correct) "
