Dog-friendly country cottage for two people

Ollerenshaw Cottage is the perfect hideaway for two people plus a dog. Downstairs there’s an open-plan living area and upstairs there’s a double bedroom and a bathroom with an over-bath shower. A private patio is just outside your front door. The cottage is part of the Wheeldon Trees Peak District retreat and is located in one of Derbyshire's most stunning valleys, nestled under High Wheeldon. Breathtaking, with space to breathe, we guarantee vistas with every visit, along with an honesty shop, White Company toiletries, the highest of thread counts and the fluffiest towels, free EV charging, our own roasted High Wheeldon Rising fresh coffee, super-fast zooming and delicious food and drink deliveries straight to your cottage from our partnership with Sauced Here. New for 2022 are upgrade electric bikes which are free to use and a games room with pool and air hockey.

Excellent property to explore Peak District

A very cosy cottage for the 2 of us and well equipped to meet our needs. The hosts have given careful thought to what clients might need on short break and I have no doubt if we had need to ask for something they would have provided it. Bikes, laundry, well equipped and brilliant games room with something for all ages, spacious grounds and external furniture ( we were very fortunate to have brilliant weather so could sit out as sun went down with drinks each night). A handful of walks of varying lengths have been suggested by the hosts , should the wider Peak District not be enough.
