"Jambo… It was following a safari trip and we stayed a week to unwind and relax!!! The place, specifically the beach, was like paradise… Catered to couples and newlyweds… But even though I was there with a friend, I would definitely go back for some R&R!!! However, the service was slow, the waiters didn’t speak that well English, we didn’t have hot water the last 3 nights of our trip… And even though they sent maintenance every day, the problem never got resolved… And the bathroom leaked as well...

"This is an amazing property to stay in Zanzibar. We were upgraded to the frangipani villa which was spacious and well appointed. The private pool was great. The main swimming pool is huge and doesn’t get too crowded. The food options at the main dining room were good with a lot of vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner. However, the biggest issue I experienced was the strong smell coming from the toilets, almost as if the sewage system wasn’t working properly. It was unpleasant and made the stay uncomfortable at times. Maybe it was just our room. "
