"This is an inconspicuous hotel but it is definitely 5 star. From the moment you walk in you feel very relaxed and welcome. The interior is very eye catching and makes you want to explore everywhere inside. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and our first night we went to the bar for drinks. The bartender Ivan welcomed us with open arms and even made us a little fruit and chocolate flambé to celebrate! The wine options are very good as well. Breakfast was fantastic as there are a ton of options. The fresh fruit juice and pastries were really great. Best bacon we’ve ever had! The service was very attentive as well. Even the dining room itself is appealing. Everything is within walking distance to the hotel. Lots of shopping and food options. The fountain is right down the street and great for photos. The entire city is walkable, with numerous places hidden down alleys. The train station is a little far though and will require a taxi. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Genoa.
