"Loved this stay. Quaint little village."

"Hotel covers the basics but it’s too expensive vs what’s being offered"

"One of the best experiences we have had traveling! Every detail was perfect and the staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. I cannot say enough good things about the Reserve- bests Ritz, St Regis and Four Seasons for customer service:-)"

"The rooms were large and the balcony had a nice sea view. The amenities are tired and can be refreshed or renovated. The staff were excellent and very helpful."

"Beautiful hotel grounds, nice spacious rooms, impeccable service Would definitely go back"

"This was beautiful and centrally located hotel in the heart of Funchal. The breakfast spread was really good and diverse and there lots of food places near by."

"Un séjour parfait. L'accueil est au top, la chambre et la literie sont irréprochables. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis et chouchoutés du début à la fin. Côté table, les cocktails, le restaurant et le petit-déjeuner étaient tout simplement excellents. Le cadre, raffiné et au standing un peu rétro, offre une véritable bulle de douceur. Also whilst getting dressed in the room a gardener walked across our balcony which was very uncomfortable as the curtains are black outs so need to be left open. On the second morning we thought would have our tea standing by the balcony railings so we could see the...

"Hôtel merveilleusement bien placé et très agréable. Service et nourriture de qualité. La chambre vue mer est très agréable. Hôtel hautement recommandé."

"The hotel is centrally located in Funchal close to the mall, grocery store and the boardwalk. The kitchen is great with a full fridge to store snacks and water. The restaurant downstairs offer a fantastic lunch for great price of 12 euro. The included breakfast is awesome with a great al la carte section breads, cheese and fruit. All staff was great but Kaitalin was fabulous and created a beautiful driving tour for us along the coastline!"

"Friendly staff good hot tub"

"The breakfast was amazing, the room was spacious and close to the Funchal centre, staff was very helpful. Just wish the pool was open later than 7 pm. Otherwise it was a beautiful property and very well managed."
