Welcome to Matambu. A charming 5 bedroom home with garden oasis and pool, nestled in the heart of Costa Rica. Offering an authentic Costa Rican experience with a mix of modern and rustic comforts.

The Matambu Complex includes the Main House, Rancho, and Ranchita. The Casita may be occupied by the owner during your stay. When the owner is not staying in the Casita, there may be an opportunity to add it to your reservation upon request.

We offer: separate, 1-bedroom/1-bathroom options that share an outdoor kitchen with the Casita, 2 private 2-bedroom option with its own kitchen, or rent the entire property with 5 bedrooms in total.

Outside, you`ll discover a lush tropical garden teeming with life, boasting towering banana, papaya, and majestic mango trees. Dive into the refreshing waters of our lovely pool or unwind in the cozy lounge area surrounded by greenery and wildlife.

Immerse yourself in the tropical lifestyle with just a 15-minute drive to Playa Grande beach, renowned for its fantastic eateries, world-class surfing, and proximity to Las Baulas National Park, a haven for leatherback turtle nesting. For those seeking additional adventure, the vibrant town of Tamarindo is just a 20-minute drive away, offering a plethora of amenities and activities to explore. Venture 15 minutes north and discover the famous Conchal Beach, renowned for its unique shoreline made of tiny white shells and turquoise waters.

Guests will have private access to the entire property on this compound.

This ares is a perfect location for those ho want to experience tranquillity, while have access to many different beaches in the general area, north and south of here.

There is parking available on the property, gated in. A car is ideal in this location in order to get to the beaches and amenities close by.

Only the Main House has a washer & dryer.
•⁠ ⁠Quiet hours after 8:00 pm.
•⁠ ⁠No more than the registered # of guests
- guests can have up to 2 visitors during the day only until 7pm
•⁠ ⁠Only listed guests are allowed to stay past 7:00 pm.
•⁠ ⁠Please respect check out time. We have recently had guests overstaying the posted check out time affecting the next reservation. In such cases, we will be charging 60% of the last night`s rate.
•⁠ ⁠Please note that there is an additional charge of $40 per towel (bath or pool), $25 per hand towel and/or washcloth and $100 per sheet set for lost, damaged and/or stained items.
•⁠ ⁠In the case of lost keys guests will be charged $25 for replacement.
